2013 Whitetail Deer Private Land Antlerless Only Modern Gun Season

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has Phillips County split into four zones which are 4A, 5A, 9, and 17. Here are the Private Land Antlerless only modern gun seasons for those zones.

Deer
Zones: 1; 1A; 9; 14; 15; 16; 16A
Opens: 10/12/2013
Closes: 10/16/2013
Shooting Hours: 30 Minutes Before Sunrise Until 30 Minutes After Sunset
Limits: Seasonal Statewide Bag Limit: Six deer, no more than two legal bucks.
Zone Limit: Four deer, no more than two legal bucks. No more than two legal bucks and up to two does may be taken during muzzleloader and modern gun seasons combined.
More: Hunters using modern guns or muzzleloaders during these days may take only does or button bucks (both antlers shorter than 2 inches). Bowhunters may take bucks or does, but must wear blaze orange.

Elk hunting is by permit only. Go to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission to put in your application for an elk permit. I'm assuming the elk permits will explain the zones and the differences in the dates as the information here from the season website isn't clear.

Shooting Hours: 30 Minutes Before Sunrise Until Sunset
Limits: No limit. (Thursday-Monday hunting only)
More: Crows may not be hunted with rifles or pistols larger than .22 caliber rimfire or with muzzleloaders larger than .40 caliber unless a modern gun or muzzleloading deer season, bear season or coyote season is open. Crows may not be hunted with shotguns using rifled slugs, or shot larger than T shot. Crows may not be hunted over bait. Electronic callers allowed.
